There's a Danger inside Total Guitar Lab and you need to know about it...
This danger can trap you and stop you taking action.
It can stop you achieving what you want on guitar.
It can even make you too afraid to get started.
The danger is:
OVERWHELM
Did You Wonder...
You might look at all the courses and lessons inside TGL and wonder how you're going to get through it all.
Here's the secret:
Don't even try to.
Let's put it a different way.
Think of your bookshelf in your house.
Have you read every book on it?
I know I haven't.
- Some books I've read 3-4 times.
- Others I've read once.
- Some I flick through when I want to look at pictures.
- I use some books when I need one specific thing, like a recipe or answer to a question.
- I've got books I haven't read yet... but someday will read.
- And there are books which don't interest me and I'll probably never read.
We don't feel pressured to devour every book all at once.
Because we know those books will still be there when we are ready to read them.
So, we read just one book at a time and flick through others when we need something or want to look at some amazing photos.
Think of Total Guitar Lab the same way.
- It's a 'library' of guitar courses and training.
- And like a library we can't consume everything all at once!
- Just focus on one course at a time.
- Go at your own pace, there is no rush
- And it's ok to flick through a course to see what' in it...then put it back on the shelf for later!
And if I mention a course or release new training which you're not ready for yet...
Don't worry.
I'm just adding it to the library so that it's there when you are ready.
Remember there is no 'getting left behind' or 'not keeping up' in Total Guitar Lab.
Because it's you who decides where you want to go and how long you need to get there.
So take this mindset with you on your TGL journey.
It will make it more enjoyable, more educational and make sure you avoid the dreaded feeling of overwhelm!
Speak again soon,
James
